Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Addis Ababa

• Meet and greet at Bole International Airport.

• City tour: National Museum (home of Lucy), Holy Trinity Cathedral, and Entoto Hill.

• Overnight: Addis Ababa.

Day 2: Addis Ababa – Arba Minch

• Drive south through the Rift Valley lakes.

• Stops at Ziway Lake for birdwatching.

• Overnight: Arba Minch.

Day 3: Arba Minch – Dorze Village – Boat Trip

• Visit Dorze village, famous for weaving and beehive-shaped houses.

• Afternoon boat ride on Lake Chamo to spot crocodiles and hippos.

• Overnight: Arba Minch.

Day 4: Arba Minch – Turmi (Omo Valley)

• Drive to Turmi via Konso (UNESCO Cultural Landscape).

• Visit Konso cultural village and traditional terraces.

• Overnight: Turmi.

Day 5: Turmi – Hamer & Dassanech Tribes

• Morning visit to Dassanech tribe near Lake Turkana.

• Afternoon cultural experience with the Hamer tribe (possible bull-jumping ceremony if available).

• Overnight: Turmi.

Day 6: Turmi – Jinka – Addis Ababa (Flight)

• Visit Mursi tribe in Mago National Park (famous for lip-plate tradition).

• Drive to Jinka and fly back to Addis.

• Overnight: Addis Ababa.

Day 7: Addis Ababa – Lalibela (Flight)

• Morning flight to Lalibela.

• Visit the first group of rock-hewn churches (UNESCO).

• Overnight: Lalibela.

Day 8: Lalibela – Asheten Mariam – Second Group Churches

• Trek or mule ride to Asheten Mariam Monastery.

• Afternoon visit to the second group of Lalibela’s rock churches.

• Overnight: Lalibela.

Day 9: Lalibela – Gondar (Flight)

• Flight to Gondar.

• Visit Royal Enclosure (Castles of Gondar), Debre Birhan Selassie Church, and Fasilides’ Bath.

• Overnight: Gondar.

Day 10: Gondar – Simien Mountains – Addis Ababa (Flight)

• Excursion to Simien Mountains National Park (UNESCO) to view dramatic landscapes and endemic wildlife (Gelada baboons).

• Return to Gondar and fly back to Addis Ababa.

• Evening: Farewell dinner with cultural dance.

• Transfer to airport for departure.
