Day 1: Addis Ababa – Arbaminch

Morning departure from Addis Ababa via the Great Rift Valley.

Stop at Lake Ziway for birdwatching and photography.

Continue to Arbaminch, the gateway to the South.

Overnight in Arbaminch.
Day 2: Arbaminch – Konso – Jinka

Visit the Konso people, UNESCO World Heritage site, known for their terraced agriculture and unique wooden carvings (waka).

Drive to Jinka through beautiful highlands and valleys.

Overnight in Jinka.
Day 3: Jinka – Mago National Park – Turmi

Morning excursion to Mago National Park to visit the Mursi tribe, famous for their lip-plate culture.

Proceed to Turmi, home of the Hamer tribe, known for bull-jumping ceremonies and elaborate hairstyles.

Overnight in Turmi.
Day 4: Turmi – Omorate – Turmi

Drive to Omorate, cross the Omo River by local boat to visit the Dassanech tribe, agro-pastoralists living by the riverbanks.

Return to Turmi for cultural interaction with the Hamer people.

Overnight in Turmi.
Day 5: Turmi – Arbaminch – Addis Ababa (Flight)

Drive back to Arbaminch and take a domestic flight to Addis Ababa.

Evening traditional farewell dinner and transfer to airport for departure.
